: Westby played in 29 games and started 28 as a freshman... She averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game... Westby had 16 assists and 77 total blocks this 2025-26 season... She shot 42.3 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 76.7 percent from the free throw line...Westby was a key player for the Golden Eagles as a freshman...Had two double-doubles on the season, with a 12 rebound, 14 point performance on the road at MSU Moorhead...Had nine games with two or more makes from long range...Career-high 21 points in a dominant win over Jamestown at home...Had a whopping 10 games with four or more blocks on the season, including a career-high seven against nationally-ranked Minnesota State...Led the NSIC in both blocks (77) and blocks per game (2.7) as a freshman. 

Prior to UMN Crookston: Westby was named to the All-Lake Superior Conference team, and the All-Area Team. Westby was named to the Class AAA All-State Honorable Mention team. She has a 3.93 GPA, and is a National Honor Society member. Westby led Rock Ridge with 18.1 points per game as a junior on their way to the Section 7AAA Championship. She scored her 1,000th career point last season against Hibbing High School in February. 

Personal: She is the daughter of Kelly Torel of Aurora, Minn., and Jody Westby of Eveleth, Minn. She plans to major in business at Minnesota Crookston. Westby's uncle Matt Niskanen played college hockey for the University of Minnesota Duluth. He went on to play in the NHL with the Dallas Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, and Philadelphia Flyers. Niskanen won the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals in 2018.
