2023-2024 (Freshman): Ainsley McLain didn’t get to play her first half of the season because of injuries but she made a comeback scoring 13 points against St. Cloud being the second leading scorer in that game...She had a good shooting year shooting 50% from the three and 47% inside the arc.
Prior to UMN Crookston:Â McLain is a standout for Grafton High School on both the golf course and the basketball court and she will be playing both for the Golden Eagles starting next season. McLain was named to the 2022 All-Region 2 team and the All-Tournament Team at the North Dakota State Basketball Tournament. As a junior, McLain shot 55 percent from inside the three-point line, which was the highest on her team.

McLain is the daughter of Heather and Scott Robideaux and plans to major in Medical Lab Sciences at Minnesota Crookston.
