University of Minnesota Crookston Athletics

Johnson is in his second year helping out the Minnesota Crookston softball team as a volunteer assistant coach. Johnson has been active in the baseball/softball community in Northwest Minnesota for several years, playing and coaching with the Crookston Reds, and helping out the Crookston High School baseball program. Johnson is a Crookston High School graduate. He is also a firefighter for the Crookston Fire Department.
