Grace Clouser enters her second season as the top assistant coach for the Golden Eagles during the 2026 season.
In 2025, Clouser was a key part in the most successful season in program history for the maroon and gold. The 2025 Golden Eagles set a number of program records, including: most wins in program history (20), most conference wins in program history (8), most sweeps in NSIC play (2) and had a five game winning streak near the end of the season.
An Iowa native, Clouser graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion in 2023, and a master’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management in 2024. As a student athlete, she was a member of the Iowa Women’s Rowing team during the 2022 season and was named to the All-Big Ten Academic team. She was also involved with the Hawkeye Flying Club.
Clouser spent the previous four years coaching at high schools across Iowa. Most recently, she coached at Iowa City West High School in Iowa City, IA for the 2024 season. Prior to West, Clouser got her start as a head coach after taking the reigns at Tipton High School in Tipton, IA during the 2023 season. With the Tigers, she was responsible for developing and implementing a program handbook, creating a mental training program, and facilitating daily coaching operations. Clouser spent two seasons at Panorama High School serving as the junior high coach in 2021 and 2022.
Clouser was actively involved with the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) where she assisted with the execution of multiple State Championships. She was instrumental in the election of the 2023 3A, and 2024 5A State Softball All-Tournament Teams.
