2024-25 (Freshman): Thiel played in all 29 games, starting 13 as a freshman...She averaged 7.2 points, and 3.8 rebounds...Thiel had eight double-digit scoring games, with four coming in the last month of the season...She notched double-doubles against Michigan Tech, and Bemidji State...Thiel shot 41.3 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 75.9 percent from the stripe...She started each of the last eight games...Thiel notched a season-high 21 points against Michigan Tech...She notched 19 against Northern State. 

Prior to UMC: Thiel was a 2022-23 All State Honorable Mention selection as a junior for basketball. She was named the Heart of Lakes Conference MVP during her junior season. She is a back-to-back all-conference recipient, and earned honorable mention honors as a freshman. In volleyball, she is a back-to-back All-Heart of Lakes Conference recipient. She earned honorable mention accolades as a freshman in volleyball. She is a two-year Team Academic Section Champion. Thiel is in the Minnesota Honor Society. She helped her team to the Academic State Championship in 2023. 

Personal: She is the daughter of Lacey and Chad Thiel. Thiel is undecided on her major. She is the first Golden Eagle to compete on the team for Perham since Katrina (Moenkedick) Nordick, who was a back-to-back All-NSIC First Team selection in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
