Matt Hobson started his career at UMC in the winter of 2024. Hobson works primarily with volleyball, men’s basketball and tennis.
Prior to UMC, Hobson worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Bellevue East High School in Bellevue, NE from 2020-2024.
Prior to Bellevue East, Hobson worked as an intern athletic trainer for the softball and cross country programs at Creighton University from 2017 to 2020.
Hobson was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Midland University from 2016-2017 academic year.
Hobson received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2016. In 2020 he earned his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Creighton University in 2020.
Hobson is a BOC certified athletic trainer (ATC).
Hobson is a Nebraska native and lives in East Grand Forks with his wife, Allie and their dog, Bruce.
