2025-26 (Freshman): Chervestad played in 16 games totaling 247 minutes on the season. He started seven of those games and contributed a lot with his time on the floor. He had a .613 FG% on 31 attempts and contributed 24 assists on the season.

Prior to Minnesota Crookston: The local product will join former rival Caiden Swenby as former Section 8 stars who know don the maroon and gold jersey…Was a four-year starter at Red Lake County High School, as well as a four year all-conference performer…Chervestad has four school records and finished with 1,682 points and 865 assists…Was a two-year captain for the Rebels, who went to the Minnesota State Tournament for the first time in their co-op…Chervestad also played a big part on the Rebel baseball team, who just won their first state championship in baseball.
 
Owen is the son of Jill and Aaron Chervestad of Oklee…Plans to major in Ag Business while at Minnesota Crookston.
