2021-22: Powell proved to be a valuable piece to the Golden Eagles...Started 16 games and played in 25 out of the 27 games...Scored in double-digits nine times, including a career-high 17 points against MSU Moorhead...Scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for his first career double-double in a win over Wayne State College.

Prior to UMN Crookston: Powell averaged 6.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Williston State College. He had 19 points in a win over United Tribes Technical College. He tallied 15 points in a win over North Dakota State College of Science. Powell had seven games with 10 or more rebounds. He notched 15 rebounds against Dawson C.C. He had 15 boards versus Miles C.C. Powell had four assists in the win over NDSCS. AS a freshman at Williston State, Powell played in 30 games and notched 4.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. She shot 42.1 percent from the field. He had 11 points versus Bryant & Stratton College, Northwest College, and Miles C.C. Powell tallied 16 points against Dakota College at Bottineau. Powell had 17 boards against Dakota College at Bottineau as a freshman. He helped lead the Tetons to the semifinals of the NJCAA Region XIII Tournament. As a prep, he competed at Barking Abbey School. He was named the EABL Player of the Week October 5, 2018. Powell was part of the Great Britain National Team and the England National Team. 

Personal: Powell was born Dec. 13, 2000. He is the son of Dorothy Smith and Ashley Powell. He plans to major in business at UMN Crookston.
