2015-16 (Freshman): Lorenz averaged 5.2 points and 3.3 rebounds as a freshman for the Golden Eagles...He started 24 games and appeared in all 26 for UMC...He tallied a season-high 12 points on 5-of-7 from the field against St. Cloud State...Notched 11 points at Waldorf and Wisconsin-River Falls...He had a season-high eight rebounds on the road at Bemidji State...He was 53-of-120 from the field for 44.2 percent. 

Prior to UMC: Lorenz was the 35th ranked player in the state of Minnesota per North Star Hoops Report...A four-time All-Heart O' Lakes Conference selection at Breckenridge H.S. In addition, Lorenz was the school's all-time leading rebounder and a 1,000 point scorer (leading scorer) Lorenz plays AAU for the Comets...He also played football at Breckenridge H.S...Helped lead team to Minnesota State Tournament, where they lost to Maple River H.S. in the Class 2A Quarterfinals...Averaged 19.4 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a senior for Breckenridge H.S. He finished with 1,525 career points and 984 rebounds.
