2018-19 (Junior): The lanky Nicolau had a strong finish to his second season at Minnesota Crookston...The Spaniard started the final eight games of the season for the Golden Eagles and averaged 8.8 PPG in his eight starts...Averaged 4.1 PPG and 3.1 RPG on the season...Scored a career high 17 points against Concordia-St. Paul.

2017-18 (Sophomore): After immigrating from Spain, Nicolau was able to make the adjustment and become a reliable big man for the Golden Eagles...He played in all 29 games on the year, two of which he started and he accumulated 3.1 points and rebounds per game...Nicolau also made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball with 34 blocks and 11 steals.
