2025-26 (Sophomore): Lorenson Played in 14 games and started 7 of them this season. He played in every game until his injury in early January, averaging 18.7 minutes per game. He scored 69 points, shooting .426 from the field and went 6-13 from three. Lorenson also contributed 26 assists and 8 steals. 

2024-25 (Freshman): Lorenson Played in 20 games this season with 146 total minutes. He shot .310 from the field, making 9 out of 29 shots and scoring 26 points in the season. He finished the season with three assists, eight steals, and one block. 

Prior to UMC: Lorenson comes from a tradition rich Lincoln High School in Lake City, Minn., as former NBA first round pick Randy Breuer won the prestigious Mr. Basketball back in 1979 for the Tigers, before playing for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and in the NBA.
 
Lorenson has started on varsity since he was a freshman, being named to the All-Conference team three times, as well as being named his team MVP. Lorenson was also named the Section Player of the Year and was named to the 2A 1st team as a junior. The 5'11 guard was given the Leadership Award, as well. Lorenson is also a member of the National Honor Society.
 
Lorenson has also scored over 1,400 points, which puts him in the top-five in Lake City history. The Tigers have a 74-14 record with Lorenson at the controls for Lake City.
 
Personal: Basketball runs in the family for Lorenson. His dad, Jason, played basketball at Rochester Community and Technical College, while he also had a relative, Jeff Lorenson, play basketball at Bemidji State and another relative, Jody Stefonowicz, play women's basketball at North Dakota State University.
 
Lorenson is the son of Jason and Erin Lorenson and is undecided on his major while at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
