2018-19 (Redshirt Sophomore): Johnson started in two games in his redshirt sophomore season and averaged 3.5 PPG, while pulling down 4.1 RPG on the season...Johnson went 6-7 from the field and scored 12 points in a late January loss to Minot State.

2017-18 (Sophomore): Started four out of five games played before a knee injury derailed his season. He will use a medical redshirt on the season leaving him with three more years to play Golden Eagle basketball.

2016-17 (Freshman): Johnson appeared in 29 games with nine starts at forward for U of M Crookston...He averaged 5.8 points and 5.0 rebounds on the season...His five rebounds per game was second on the team...Had season-high 14 points against Wayne State Feb. 4...Made it a double-double against the Wildcats with 12 rebounds...Notched four steals versus Upper Iowa Dec. 31...Had 12 points and nine rebounds against Minot State Jan. 21...Notched 10 points and eight boards versus U-Mary Jan. 20.

Prior to UMC: Johnson averaged 13.1 points per game in 20 games as a senior for Logan H.S...Johnson had 24 points and 22 rebounds in an 80-68 win over Onalaska H.S...Came on as a senior for La Crosse Logan...He averaged 6.3 points per game as a junior...He helped lead La Crosse Logan H.S. to a 16-9 mark on the season...Johnson hit the game-winning shot as the Rangers knocked off No. 2 La Crosse Central H.S...Johnson would post 16 points on the night in the win over Central H.S.
 
Personal: Son of Rich and Terri Johnson...Born June 24, 1998...Majoring in business...His father Richie Johnson was a college basketball player at Evansville University and was drafted in the third round of the 1985 draft by the Detroit Pistons. Richie went on to play for the La Crosse Bobcats and La Crosse Catbirds of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA)...A member of National Honor Society, DECA, FBLA and an All-Academic Team pick.
