2012-13: Junior season... Led the team as a junior, averaging 10.0 points per game... Also grabbed three boards per game and dished out 26 assists on the season... Shot 46.8 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from three... Had a career-high 29 points in a career game against St. Cloud State as the Golden Eagles beat the 22nd-ranked team in Crookston Feb. 22... Harrell shot 88.9 percent from the field on the night and made four treys... He also made a career-high 9 free throws against St. Cloud State.

Panola College: Helped lead team to Region 14 tournament as a freshman... Averaged five points and 2.7 assists per game as a freshman... As a sophomore, averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 ... Missed a lot of sophomore season due to injury.

“Ashton was exactly the type of person and player we were looking for,” said Jeff Oseth.  “He is an athletic guard that can really get down and guard. He is strong and can handle contact on the way to the rim. Ashton shoots it well and has great court awareness. He also has an outstanding disposition on the floor. One of the things we really like about Ashton is his basketball IQ. He has a very good feel for the game. He is a very good leader and shows that through is strong work ethic. “
