2018 (Redshirt Junior) Appeared and started in one game at linebacker...Cross achieved six tackles against MSU Moorhead before a season ending injury...He earned a medical redshirt and can play two more years at UMC.

2017 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared and started in 10 games this season... Had 79 tackles and three tackles for loss... Tallied a half a sack and one pass break-up... Cross had 11 tackles and a pass break-up against Upper Iowa.

2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Was a breakout player for UMC as a redshirt freshman...He earned All-NSIC Honorable Mention for the Golden Eagles...Cross led the team with 90 tackles...He had seven tackles for loss and a half sack...Cross notched an interception against Minot State...He moved into the top five for single-game tackles with 18 against U-Mary...Had 12 tackles and a tackle for loss against Southwest Minnesota State...Started all 12 games at MLB...Notched 11 tackles against Minot State...Picked up 11 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss against Bemidji State. 

2015 (Freshman): Redshirted initial season with the Golden Eagles...Will have four seasons to play four.

Prior to UMC: Led Turtle Lake H.S. with 160 total tackles, 88 assisted tackles and 72 solo tackles as a senior...Cross ahd six tackles for loss and one forced fumble as a senior...Also had one interception...Cross played offensive and defensive line in high school...Had 24 total tackles against Pepin/Alma H.S....Notched 20 tackles against Clear Lake H.S...One of his coaches in high school was former Golden Eagle Trent Nyhus...Named Lakeland South Conference Defensive Most Valuable Player...An All-Lakeland South Conference pick as a junior and senior...Named team MVP...Served as team captain as junior and senior.
