2017 (Junior): Started 11 games at Defensive Back where he finished second on the team in total tackles with 85... Had four pass break-ups with three interceptions... Cole notched 10 tackles along with three pass break-ups and an interception against Minot... Also earned Honorable Mention as a safety. Voted Defensive player of the year by his teammates.

2016 (Sophomore): Started all 11 games at safety for the Golden Eagles...Was third on the team with 66 tackles...Cole had 2.5 tackles for loss on the season...He had 10 tackles and two tackles for loss against Southwest Minnesota State...Cole notched 10 tackles at U-Mary.

2015 (Freshman): Cole appeared in all 11 games and had two starts...Had 23 tackles on the season for the Maroon and Gold...Had a half tackle for loss...Had seven tackles against Northern State...Tallied five tackles against Minnesota Duluth and U-Mary.

High School: Was named Most Improved Player for St. John Bosco H.S. as a senior...As a senior, played for team that was named National Champions by several publications nationally...Was member of California State Championship team...Helped team to Trinity League Championship in 2012, 2013 and 2014...Started for the varsity as a senior...Participated in the state playoffs during all four years of high school...Tallied 46 total tackles with 32 solo tackles, two tackles for loss and five pass deflections during his senior year...Had five tackles as a junior.
