Biography

2018 (Freshman): Redshirted initial college season with the Golden Eagles...Will have four years to play at UMC. 

Prior to UMC: Wilcox played both offensive and defensive line during his time at Pillager High School…Defensively, he accumulated 33 tackles and a sack while also winning a Defensive Player of the Game award…He also won two more defensive player of the game awards during his junior year…Was awarded All-Section and All-District two times respectively.

Personal: Son of Rick and Linda Wilcox…Born September 10, 1999…Wilcox has worn #71 his whole life as a tribute to his older brother who tragically passed away in a car accident when Tyler was only two years old…Tyler has said that #71 was his brothers football number and wearing it is a way to keep his memory with him whenever he touches the field…Plans to double major in Natural Resources and Law Enforcement.
