2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in four games at wide receiver and quarterback for the Golden Eagles...Completed one pass for 15 yards to Jacob Zweig versus MSU Moorhead.

2017 (Freshman): Redshirted Freshman year but will have four years of eligibility left. 
Prior to UMC: Went to the same high school as current Golden Eagle player Bubba Cook…Helped lead Valley Vista High School to a 7-4 mark overall and 4-1 in the conference…As a senior, Lara threw for 2,395 yards with 28 touchdown passes and five interceptions…He averaged 216.8 yards per game on the season…As a junior, Lara passed for 830 yards with five touchdowns…Had 95 yards rushing as a junior with three touchdowns...Earned Offensive Player of the Game five times as a senior and overall Player of the Game twice…Broke school records for single-season passing yards , passing yards in a single game (375) and single-season touchdowns…Earned Valley Vista Athlete of the Month and AZ Central Athlete of the Month and Athlete of the Week.
