2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in six games on the defensive line...Walno notched five solo tackles and three assisted tackles this season.

2017 (Freshman): Redshirted Freshman season in Maroon and Gold...Walno will have four years of eligibility left. 

Prior to UMC: Walno played tight end and defensive end for Spearfish High School…As a junior, he had three catches for 46 yards…Helped block for over 1,700 yards rushing and 1,000 yards passing during his junior season…Defensively, notched 32 tackles with one tackles for loss and two sacks as a senior…Had one fumble recovery as a senior for Spearfish High School…Earned a varsity letter as a sophomore at tight end…Helped block for over 2,500 yards rushing and 1,000 yards passing during his senior year…He earned All-Black Hills Conference honors as a Defensive End…Named to South Dakota All-Star Team.

Personal: Son of Wylie and Bonnie Walno…Born March 1, 1999…Plans to major in aviation.
