Prior to UMC: Wheeler played high school football for Martin High School in Arlington, Texas…In his senior season, Wheeler accumulated 31 total tackles to go along with two sacks on the season…He played for a Martin High School team who was ranked 100th nationally by Max Preps.com.

Personal: Son of Amber and Mark Wheeler…He was born July 14, 2000…Wheeler earned Scout Team player of the week as a sophomore and in 2017 earned All-District Honorable Mention…His father played two seasons at Southwest Baptist University…Plans to major in Exercise Science.
