Biography

2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Lofquist started eight games at linebacker for the U of M Crookston...He finished the season with 34 tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack...Added a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery...Had season-high eight tackles versus Southwest Minnesota State...Notched seven tackles against MSU Moorhead.

2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Started all 11 games for the Golden Eagles at linebacker...Notched 46 tackles on the season with 2.5 tackles for loss and two pass break-ups...Was fifth on the team in tackles.

2014 (Freshman): Redshirted initial season with UMC...Will have four years to play four beginning in 2015.

High School: Helped South St. Paul to a state tournament appearance as a senior…Team went 9-2 on the season and won section tournament…Was third on the team with 33 tackles and had eight tackles for loss…Had 3.5 sacks on the year…Brother of former UMC player Greg Lofquist...Served as basketball captain.

Personal: Son of Deborah and Walt Lofquist...Born Dec. 31, 1995...Majoring in criminal justice.
