2018: Junior Season...Finished the year with a 4-2 record and a 2.70 ERA...Recorded 8 saves while striking out 63 in just 36.2 innings pitched...Seipel became the first UMC athlete ever to be drafted going to the Atlanta Braves in the 2018 MLB draft,

2017: Sophomore season...Led the NSIC with 12 saves and was among the top 10 nationally in saves...Led the team with a 2.41 ERA...Was 1-4 on the season in 41.0 innings pitched...Limited opponents to a .282 batting average...Posted 55 strikeouts to 22 walks...Was named All-NSIC Second Team for the second-consecutive season....Had 24 appearances with one start on the season.

2016: Freshman season...Made the transition from catcher to pitcher during Fall ball...Made an immediate impact as he proved to be one of the top closers in the NSIC with 11 saves...Went 2-1 with a 4.24 ERA in 17.0 innings pitched...Limited opponents to a .280 batting average...Posted 28 strikeouts on the season...Was named All-NSIC Second Team for his strong performance on the mound.

Prior to UMC: Seipel hit .383 with 16 runs scored, four doubles, 19 runs batted in and a .400 slugging percentage for the Eagan Patriots, junior American Legion team, in 2013...In 2013, Seipel helped lead Eagan to the American Legion state tournament in 2014...Seipel hit .319 during the legion season in 2014.

Seipel is the son of Kim and Larry Seipel. He plans to major in health management. Seipel was born Oct. 17, 1996.
