2026 (Freshman): Made an impact as a freshman for the Golden Eagles, playing mostly at second base...Schumacher hit .242 in 29 games and 20 starts...He scored 18 runs, with two doubles, one triple, and 10 RBI...Schumacher walked 17 times and had a .425 on-base percentage...He stole four bases...Went 3-of-4 with three runs scored versus Jamestown.

Prior to UMN Crookston: Schumacher was a two-time All-Region pick at Thompson High School...He was also an All-Region Honorable Mention selection...Schumacher was an All-State selection...He helped Thompson High School to three North Dakota State Championships for Class B...As a junior, Schumacher hit .402, and had a .544 on-base percentage...He helped his American Legion team to the 2023 Class B Legion State Championship and was named the MVP.

Personal: Schumacher plans to major in agronomy at Minnesota Crookston...He is the son of Mike and Nina Schumacher.
