2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 16 matches with seven starts as an outside hitter...Played in 36 sets on the year...Averaged 1.36 kills per set and hit .097 on the season...Also tallied four service aces...Freund averaged 0.56 digs per set and 0.17 blocks per set on the season...She notched five kills against Winona State, Concordia-St. Paul and Southwest Minnesota State...Had nine kills versus Wayne State...Freund tallied six kills against Winona State at home.

2015 (Sophomore): Redshirted the season due to injury...Will have three years to play three starting during the 2015 season.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games during her freshman season...Notched 16 kills and hit .115 for the season...Had 17 digs and three block assists.

High School: Freund was a two-time National Champion with the Mizuno Northern Lights volleyball club...She also helped lead her Jordan H.S. squad to state and served as a team captain for her Jordan H.S. squad...Freund averaged 3.0 kills per set and hit .220 last season for Jordan H.S...She also added 68 blocks and 181 digs for the season for Jordan H.S. Named All-Minnesota River Conference. Freund missed most of her junior season due to injury.

Personal: Daughter of Jerry Freund and Stephanie Horstad...Her sister Ashley Freund plays women's basketball at Minnesota Crookston...Majoring in exercise science/wellness...Born May 18, 1996...Cousin Alex Kirk played college basketball for University of New Mexico and played in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He currently plays professional basketball in Italy.
