Biography

2016: Junior season...Limited due to injuries...Started nine games in the outfield with 24 games played on the year...Higgins hit .231 on the season with six runs scored, two doubles and seven RBI's...He posted a .273 on-base percentage.

2015: Sophomore season...Started 41 games and played in 47 as a sophomore...Played in the outfield...Higgins hit .274 on the season with 28 runs scored, three doubles, two triples, one home run and 16 RBI's...Higgins posted a .355 slugging percentage and a .395 on-base percentage...Notched a .947 fielding percentage with just four errors on the season. 

2014: Freshman season...Second best hitter on the roster during his freshman year...Batted .266 (38-for-143)...Scored 20 runs, while sending in another 10...Struck out 29, walked 11 times for a .329 OBP.

High School: Played at Eagan H.S. with fellow freshman Wyatt Huso...An All-Conference Honorable Mention pick, as well as an All-Section selection.

Personal: Son of David and Maria Higgins...Born July 4, 1994...Majoring in criminal justice...Father David Higgins played football at Concordia-St. Paul.
