Prior to UMN Crookston:Â Mikrot has competed for the Moose Lake-Willow River H.S. squad. She averaged 23.6 points per game as a junior and shot 45.8 percent from the field, 81.8 percent from the charity stripe, and 34.4 percent from beyond the arc. She had 41 points, including going 7-of-11 from beyond the arc against Crosby-Ironton H.S. Feb. 9, 2021. Mikrot notched 38 points, including shooting 10-of-16 from behind the three-point line in a win over Barnum H.S. Jan. 16, 2021. Mikrot averaged 3.0 assists per game as a junior, and 2.8 steals per tilt. She notched 3.5 rebounds per game. Mikrot was the 2020-21 Polar League All-Conference MVP as a junior. She was the 2019-20 Polar League All-Conference MVP. Mikrot was also named all-conference as a freshman and eighth grader. She also has competed in softball and volleyball for her high school. Mikrot is the all-time leading scorer for both boys and girls basketball at Moose Lake-Willow River H.S. with 1,848 career points.
