2012: Freshman season...pitched two innings of shut-out relief with two hits allowed against Charleston March 14...made 18 appearances at pitcher...had a 11.44 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts.

High School: Attended Larimore High School…2011 graduate…named all-conference honorable mention as a junior and all-conference as a senior…named his team’s most valuable player and pitcher of the year as a senior…threw a no-hitter against Central Valley - Hillsboro on May 20, 2011...served as team captain for baseball as junior and senior and for basketball and football as a senior.

Personal: Son of Paul and Deb Kleven of Larimore, N.D…accounting and agricultural business major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
