2020 (Senior): Grover set the program strikeout record for a career and also set the single-season strikeout record with 14 in a game against Saint Anselm...Went 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over 23.1 innings and four starts for the Golden Eagles...Struck out 26 and walked just seven in 2020...Opponents were limited to just a .220 batting average against Grover...Went eight innings with just three hits allowed and the 14 strikeouts versus Saint Anselm.

2019: Junior Season...Grover was relied upon to be the third starter for the Golden Eagles...In 10 starts, the Cooperstown, N.D., native went 5-3 with a 5.43 ERA in 53 innings of work...Struck out 43 and walked 30...Struck out a season high eight in a win over the University of Mary.

2018: Sophomore Season...As well as being a fancy dresser, Jayden had a solid year on the hill for UMC...Went 4-4 on the season finishing with a 5.56 ERA on the year...Struck out 45 batters compared to just 23 walks...Struck out 10 against Missouri-St.Louis in 5.2 innings on March 8th.

2017: Freshman season...Appeared in 13 games with three starts as a freshman...Went 1-0 with 5.34 ERA in 28.2 innings pitched...Notched 26 strikeouts to just 10 walks on the season...Gave up just one run on four hits in four innings against Minot State...Came on for 2.1 innings of relief, giving up just one runs on three hits against Minnesota Duluth. 

Prior to UMC: Grover was an All-State Baseball selection in 2015 for Griggs County Central High School...In addition, he helped lead his team to the state tournament in 2014, where was named All-State Tournament Team... Grover was an All-Region Player in 2014 and 15...In addition, Grover helped lead his team to the 2013 State Babe Ruth Championship...Grover played legion baseball for Nelson County...He threw a complete game shutout against Kidder County in the North Dakota Class B American Legion baseball tournament.

Personal: Grover is the son of Jay and Mary Jo Grover...He was born April 23, 1998 and plans to major in golf and turf management...His brother Jordan Grover played college baseball at Bismarck State College...His sister Beth Jochim played volleyball and ran track at Valley City State University.
