Biography

2020 (Junior): Jung hit .294 in 17 at-bats for the Golden Eagles in 2020...He scored three runs, had two home runs and seven RBIs...Jung had a 1.102 OPS and a .500 slugging percentage...Posted a .455 on-base percentage...Reached base with five walks.

2019: Sophomore season...appeared in four games for the Golden Eagles.

2018: Freshman season...Appeared in 15 games...Had 13 at-bats and no hits on the year but did score one run on the season.

Prior to UMC: As a junior, Jung helped the Midgets to a Class A State Championship in the spring. Jung hit .336 with two home runs, 18 RBI's and 23 runs scored for the Dickinson Roughriders Legion baseball team. Jung also played basketball at Dickinson H.S...Helped lead his team to a 32-4 mark and a berth in the North Dakota Class A Championship, where they lost to West Fargo H.S.

Personal: Jung is the son of Lori and Jon Jung...He was born Nov. 16, 1998...Jung plans to major in health sciences.
