2020 (Redshirt Junior): Grose appeared in four games out of the bullpen for Minnesota Crookston...He notched two saves in 7.2 innings pitched...Posted a 2.35 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP...Struck out 11 and walked four as the closer for the Golden Eagles...Opponents hit just .231 off Grose in 2020...He had five strikeouts over two innings versus Saint Leo.

2019: Redshirt Sophomore season..."Dutch" had one of the best seasons for a relief pitcher in Minnesota Crookston history...Appeared in 26 games, all out of the bullpen for the Golden Eagles and went 2-2 with a 3.52 ERA, while striking out 39 and walking just 22...Finished the season with 13 saves, breaking the school record for saves, which was set by Zach Seipel, who was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2018 MLB draft...Had four straight saves on two separate occasions.

2018: Redshirt Freeshman season...Pitched in 10 games out of the bullpen, recording a 1-0 record and a 2.00 ERA. Gave up just 3 hits in 9 innings of work.

2017: Freshman season...Redshirted initial collegiate season...Will have four years to play four. 

Prior to UMC: Grose was named the Faribault Daily news All-Area Player of the Year in 2015...He was selected to the Faribault Daily News All-Area Team in 2014 and 2015 and the Waseca County News All-Area team in 2014 and 2015...Grose was his team's Most Valuable Player in 2015 and was named Pitcher of the Year for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown H.S. in 2014 and 2015...He was All-Gopher Conference pick in 2015 and Honorable Mention All-Gopher Conference in 2014...As a sophomore, Grose had a 1.97 ERA, while he posted a 1.73 ERA in 2015... He had a 5-2 mark in 2015 with 56 strikeouts. As a hitter, he batted .300 as a sophomore and .373 as a junior...Posted a 6-1 mark with a 2.85 ERA in 51.2 innings pitched...Hit .358 with 16 runs scored, seven doubles and 23 RBI's as a senior.

Personal: Grose is the son of Joe and Michele Grose...He was born Jan. 27, 1998 and plans to major in natural resources...His brother Nolan Grose plays baseball at Bethany Lutheran College...His father Joe played baseball at Bethany Lutheran for two years and St. Cloud State University for two years...His cousin, Ryan Kretzschmar is a freshman on the football team at Augustana University (S.D.)...His grandfather William Grose is in the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame for starting baseball in Waterville and creating the 13-60 baseball league...He also was a key contributor to creating a field which is now named after him (William J. Grose Park) in Waterville.
