2022 (Redshirt Junior): Richardson appeared in 11 games, with 10 starts for the Golden Eagles...He went 1-6, with a 4.74 ERA in 49.1 innings pitched for the Golden Eagles...He struck out 36, and walked 20...Richardson allowed no runs, and struck out seven against Augustana.

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Richardson went 2-3 with a 4.38 ERA as a redshirt sophomore in 2021...He posted a 1.58 WHIP for the season...Richardson appeared in 10 games and started nine for UMN Crookston...Richardson pitched 51.1 innings for the Golden Eagles...He struck out 41 batters and walked 20 during the 2021 season...Richardson tallied seven strikeouts against Upper Iowa March 29...He notched seven strikeouts versus Minot State May 7.

2020 (Sophomore): Was a standout on the mound in the shortened 2020 season...Posted a 3-0 mark with a 2.57 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP...Richardson pitched 21.0 innings in four starts for the Golden Eagles...Notched seven strikeouts and five walks...Pitched a one-hit shutout over six innings against Gannon...Allowed just four hits over a six-inning outing against Pittsburg State.

2019: Freshman season...You could argue that the freshman from right down highway-2 was the most consistent pitcher for the Golden Eagles...Appeared in 15 games, including making four starts...Finished the year with a 3.76 ERA IN 40.2 innings pitched, while striking out 23 and walking just nine hitters on the season...Had quality appearances in back-to-back games against Minnesota State Mankato and Upper Iowa...Went 7.0 innings in relief against the Mavericks and gave up one run on three hits, while striking out one...Against the Peacocks, Richardson went 6.2 innings while giving up four runs on eight hits and struck out four...Picked up his first collegiate victory against Wayne State College.

Prior to UMC: Richardson played baseball and basketball for Red River High School. He competed with his team in the 2012 Cal Ripken World Series and in the 2013 Babe Ruth World Series. Richardson plays American Legion baseball for the Grand Forks Royals.


Personal: Richardson is the son of Melanie and Roy Richardson. He plans to major in sports and rec management. Richardson was born April 19, 2000.
