2021 (Freshman): Peterson redshirted the 2021 season...He has four years to play four for the Golden Eagles. 

Prior to Minnesota Crookston: Peterson hit .312 as a junior with five runs scored, one home run, four RBIs, and five doubles for Brainerd H.S...He was 1-0 as a pitcher with a 2.33 ERA.

Personal: Is the son of Dave and Kris Peterson...His brother McCale Peterson played baseball at Minnesota Duluth.
