Biography

2022 (Redshirt Junior): Did not appear in a game during the 2022 season.

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Did not appear in a game during the 2021 season.

2020 (Redshirt Freshman): Rehabbed an injury during the 2020 season.

2019: Redshirted his freshman season...Will have four years left in a Golden Eagle uniform.

Prior to UMC: Lupa was 5-4 as a junior with a 1.20 ERA, 53 strikeouts and four saves. At the plate, he hit .403 with 17 runs scored, two doubles and 15 RBI's. Lupa was First Team All-Heart O' North Conference as a pitcher. He was named his team MVP during his junior season. Lupa also earned the Team Coaches Award. He competed in American Legion, where he was a 2016 All-League selection and was the Legion Team MVP. In 2017, Lupa was named to the Superior Telegram All-Area Team. He was named Co-MVP of the Northwestern University Prospect Championship in 2017.

Personal: He is the son of Troy and Ruth Lupa. Lupa was born Aug. 22, 2000. He is undecided on his major. Lupa's sister Aleia Lupa played basketball at Central Lakes College.
