2018 (Freshman): Appeared in all 11 games with 10 starts at wide receiver for the Golden Eagles...Had a strong first season as he lead the team in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns...Groebner had 33 catches for 601 yards on the season...Rushed on 19 attempts for 30 yards...Threw and completed one 15 yard pass...He recorded six receptions for 126 yards and a 70 yard touchdown reception against Minot State...Groeber now ranks third for receptions in a game in Golden Eagles history...Named Offensive MVP as a freshman.

Prior to UMC: Had a stellar varsity season for the Andover Huskies from both the running back and wide receiver positions….Groebner rushed for just 159 yards but carried 14 over the goal line for touchdowns over the eight game season…He also converted on 13 two-point conversions…At wide receiver, Groebner accumulated 929 yards through the regular season and playoffs hauling in 13 more touchdowns through the air…Groebner holds several records for Andover High School including most points in a game with 34, most receptions in a game with 35 and lastly most points scored in a season with 192…He was also selected to participate in the Elite Combine in Memphis as well as the High School All-American Bowl in Dallas.

Personal: Son of Peter and Linda Groebner, born August 6, 1999…His father Peter played football at Normandale Community College and his mother, Linda, was a swimmer at the College of St. Catherine… Groebner was proud to be a three sport Varsity athlete his senior year playing football, basketball and baseball…He plans to major in Sport and Recreation Management.
