2013-14: Sophomore season... Averaged 18.6 minutes per game... Played in all 27 games, started 1... Averaged 5.4 points per game... Shot 79.2 percent from the free throw line... Scored 17 points and had 3 steals against William Penn on Nov. 15... Scored 16 points on Feb. 1 against Southwest Minnesota State...Had 3 steals against University of Mary on Feb. 7... Had 4 double-digit scoring games. 

2012-13: Freshman season... Averaged 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game as a freshman... Appeared in 25 games in her first season in the Maroon and Gold... Tallied a season-high nine points against Concordia-St. Paul Feb. 8... Had eight points versus both MSU Moorhead and Minot State... Grabbed a season-high seven baords against MSU Moorhead Jan. 4... Dished out three assists against both Minnesota State and U-Mary.

High School: Averaged 16.7 points and 2.3 assists per game as a  senior at St. Michael-Albertville H.S.... Led team to 19-7 mark and a state tournament appearance... Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention pick as a senior... Thorn has been a three-time all-conference performer. She also holds the school’s free-throw record.
 
Personal: Thorn intends to major in early childhood education at the University of Minnesota Crookston... She is the daughter of John and Brenda Thorn.

“Christine is a dynamite three-point shooter and has the speed and athleticism to be very effective at attacking the rim,” says Golden Eagle Head Women’s Basketball Coach Mike Roysland. “In addition, her athleticism and speed will be a help on the defensive side of the ball.”
