University of Minnesota Crookston Athletics

Prior to UMN Crookston: Washington averaged 10.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for East Los Angeles College during the 2021-22 season. He shot 35.4 percent from beyond the arc. Washington scored a season-high 28 points against Compton C.C. He had 23 points versus Santa Monica C.C. He aided East Los Angeles College to a 25-5 mark as a sophomore. He helped his squad advance to the regional final, where they had a narrow loss to West Los Angeles C.C. Washington had a season-high 11 boards versus Citrus College December 15. As a freshman, Washington notched 3.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for East Los Angeles College. As a freshman, Washington had a season-high 10 points against both Mt. San Antonio C.C. and El Camino C.C.  He earned All-Conference accolades at East Los Angeles College. He played his prep ball for Blair H.S. in Pasadena, Calif. As a junior in high school, Washington notched 20.6 points per game in 31 games. In high school, he was named the John R. Wooden Player of the Year, presented to the top high school basketball players in each CIF Southern Section division.

Personal: Washington is the son of Shanna Washington. He plans to major in general studies at UMN Crookston.
