Biography
2021-22: The only Golden Eagle to start in all 27 games as a redshirt sophomore...Led the team in minutes per game at 34.4...Third on the Golden Eagles in scoring with 10.6 points per game...Led the team with 84 assists on the season and finished with a career-high six assists in a loss to Michigan Tech...Finished in double-figures 15 times this season, including a career-high 19 points three different times against Presentation College, Southwest Minnesota State and Minot State.
Prior to UMN Crookston: Dibiamaka is the first UMN Crookston player from South Australia during the Weisse era. He joins Xia as foreign-born players on the UMN Crookston roster for the 2021 season. Dibiamaka averaged 7.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Iowa Central C.C. He shot 42.3% from the field, and 43.5 percent from beyond the arc. Dibiamaka was an 87.1 percent shooter from the charity stripe. In his last four games for the Tritons, he averaged 16.8 points per game, shooting 56.8% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. His season-high of 19 points came against Southeastern C.C. He was 5-of-7 from beyond the arc in the game. Dibiamaka had 10 rebounds in a win over Ellsworth C.C. He had eight boards in a victory over North Iowa Area C.C. (NIACC). Dibiamaka had five assists in a win over Northeast C.C. He played his freshman season at Western Texas College. Dibiamaka averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. He had a season-high eight points against Loyalty Prep. He competed as a prep at Second Baptist H.S. in Houston, Texas. Dibiamaka was a 2018 State Champion. He earned 2018 First Team All-Conference accolades.
Personal: His brother Uche Dibiamaka competed for Division I University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He is the son of Henry and Colleen Dibiamaka. Dibiamaka was born April 23, 2001. He plans to major in business management.
