2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in all 11 games with three starts at middle linebacker...Finished fourth on the team with a combined total of 77 tackles...Finished second on the team for assisted tackles with 42...Steele lead the Golden Eagles with 3.0 sacks on the year...He recorded 5.0 tackles for loss on the season...He grabbed one interception for a 35 yard return against UMary.

2017 (Freshman): Redshirted freshmen year for the Golden Eagles he will have four years left to play at UMC.

Prior to UMC: Earned Wisconsin All-Regional Football team honors…Had six forced fumbles, which tied for first in the state...Steele was named First Team All-Mississippi Valley Conference…Played linebacker and wide receiver for La Crosse Central High School…Tallied 87 tackles with five fumble recoveries and two interceptions…Had one interception for a touchdown during his senior season…As a wide receiver, had six grabs for 107 yards for two touchdowns…Rushed five times for 23 yards.
