2018 (Freshman): Appeared in three games at tight end for the Golden Eagles...Mahmoud caught three receptions for a total of 27 yards...He scored a 12 yard touchdown pass from Jalin Scott against Minot State.

Prior to UMC: Coming out of Eastview High School in Apple Valley, Mahmoud hauled in 5 passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in his senior season…Named All-District in both his junior and senior seasons… Selected to the U-19 National team as a tight end, was also picked by his coaching staff to hold the flag during the anthem because of leadership qualities he demonstrated during the week of practice.

Personal: Son of Hanafy Mahmoud and Samah Hussein originally from Egypt…His mother passed away when he was only five years old, after nine years his father remarried and he was blessed with another brother who he considers to be the biggest blessing in his life…Mahmoud plans to major in Exercise Science.
