2017 (Junior): Started in 11 games as a Junior... Led the team in tackles with 86 total tackles...He had eight tackles for loss along with two and a half sacks... Alkhatib also notched two forced fumble against Upper Iowa... Tallied 12 tackles against MSU Moorhead and had a fumble recovery.

2016 (Sophomore): Moved to linebacker as a sophomore from UMC...Alkhatib was second on the team with 77 tackles...He had one sack and a team-high 11 tackles for loss...Alkhatib led the team with four forced fumbles on the year...Tallied 10 tackles and had a forced fumble against SMSU...Notched 11 tackles and had a forced fumble against MSU Moorhead.

2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Played at strong safety for the Golden Eagles...Started eight games and appeared in all 11...Alkhatib was second on the team with 59 total tackles with 30 solo tackles and 29 assisted tackles...Tallied four tackles for loss with an interception...Had two forced fumbles...Had nine tackles against Minnesota State...Notched seven tackles against U-Mary and Minot State.
