2017 (Junior): Tappe appeared in all 11 games starting 10 of them... Tallied 22 catches for 233 yards along with one touchdown... Also had one kick return for 28 yards... Notched three catches for 74 yards and one touchdown against Northern State.
2016 (Sophomore): Tappe played in 11 games at wide receiver with two starts...He notched 12 receptions for 124 yards with one touchdown...He averaged 11.3 yards per game for the Golden Eagles...Tappe notched two receptions for 22 yards against Minot State...He tallied two catches for 61 yards versus Northern State.

2015 (Freshman): Caught 22 passes for 180 yards as a freshman for the Golden Eagles...Appeared in all 11 games for UMC...Tallied 10 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown against MSU Moorhead...Had five grabs for 30 yards against U-Mary. 

High School: A 2013-14 All-State Honorable Mention pick at Aiea H.S...Played slot back for Aiea H.S...Tallied 26 receptions for 293 yards with two touchdowns as a senior in high school...Tappe was a high school teammate of fellow signee Kolby Castillo and comes from same high school as UMC offensive lineman Drew McDurmin...As a junior, had 16 catches for 203 yards and one touchdown.
