Wayne, Neb. -- Minnesota Crookston women's golf heads to Wayne, Neb., for one final tune-up before the NSIC Championships at the Wildcat Classic, hosted by Wayne State College.

The two round tournament will tee off on Monday and finish on Tuesday at the Wayne Country Club.

The Golden Eagles have finished in the top-10 in each tournament this season and will look to continue that this week.

The maroon and gold have a pair of second place finishes this season and a third place finish, as well.

The Golden Eagles have been consistent all season long and have been led by Anaka Lysne (Sr., Wahpeton, N.D.), who has been fantastic in the spring. The senior has three top-five finishes this season and a 13th place finish in four tournaments this season.

Multi-sport student-athlete Emma Pierson (Fr., Cherry Valley, Ill.) has a second place finish this season and finished 21st at the NSIC Conference Preview. The Golden Eagles have had a solid top-five this season, including Lysne and Pierson. Ainsley McLain (Jr., Grafton, N.D.), Libby Dulmage (Jr., Leeds, Minn.) and Lauren Bowyer (Sr., Ivanhoe, Minn.).

Including Minnesota Crookston, the field includes: Concordia-St. Paul, Concordia University of Nebraska, Morningside, Wayne State College, Sioux Falls, Minnesota State, Bemidji State, Winona State, Nebraska at Kearney, Augustana, MSU Moorhead and UMary.
