MANKATO, Minn. - University of Minnesota Crookston volleyball player Carizma Muth (R-So., OH/RS, Randolph, Wis.) was selected to the Maverick Invite All-Tournament Team after the Golden Eagles posted a 2-2 mark Friday and Saturday in Mankato. Muth helped the Golden Eagles build on their historic 6-2 start, their best since 2014.

Muth notched 41 kills over the weekend, hitting .200, and averaging 3.15 kills per set. She notched 15 kills Friday against Upper Iowa. Muth had 10 against Chadron State, and Lake Superior State, hitting .320 against the Lakers. Muth had double-doubles against Upper Iowa, Chadron State, and Quincy. She had 16 digs against Chadron State. Muth comes into the weekend averaging 2.82 kills/set, and hitting .174. Additionally, she is notching 2.86 digs/set.

Muth was joined on the All-Tournament team by Mataya Ward of Chadron State, Jadyn Lester and Avery Klein of Minnesota State, Abby Brooks and Natalie Szybinska of Northern State, Susanna Beretti of Quincy, and Morgan Block of Upper Iowa.
