CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston soccer program announced the addition of Breezie Davis as assistant coach for the Golden Eagles. Davis arrives at Minnesota Crookston after three seasons as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at the University of Arkansas-Rich Mountain.

"I am thrilled to have Breezie join us here at Minnesota Crookston and be part of our new soccer staff," said Head Coach Danny Burstein. "From the beginning, I felt that Breezie fit exactly what we are looking to build here, a strong culture that will be the foundation for future growth and success. Her focus on the person before the soccer player perfectly aligns with my philosophy. In addition, she has extensive expertise with what it takes to operate a college soccer program. Breezie will be a huge asset to the Golden Eagle soccer program both on and off the field."

Davis helped the Bucks women's soccer squad to an 8-7-4 mark at the NJCAA level in 2024. In 2023, she aided Arkansas-Rich Mountain to a 9-9 mark, while they went 6-13 in 2022. She has also helped oversee athletic operations at Arkansas-Rich Mountain over the past season. The 2024 squad scored 49 goals, and had a 2.60 goals against average defensively. They were guided by 15 goals from Audrey Jordan, while Jasmin Bislev Nielsen notched 14.The 2023 squad was paced by Bislev Nielsen with a team-high 28 goals, while Carla Todd notched 19. 

She played her college soccer at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. Davis scored four goals to lead the team in 2021. She started 15 games, and played in 16. She played in eight games in 2020 with four shots, and no goals. Davis started all 28 games in 2019, with 23 shots. As a a senior, she was named All-American Southwest Conference Honorable Mention. In her final season, she was team MVP, and the squad's Offensive Player of the Year. 

Davis started her career at Seminole State College, earning All-Region 2 honors. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration from the University of the Ozarks in 2021. Davis went on to receive her master's degree in athletic administration from Arkansas State University in 2024. She is a Verdigris, Okla., native.
