Crookston, Minn. – The University of Mary shot 77 percent in the third quarter, outscoring the Golden Eagles by 15 in that third quarter, propelling the Marauders to a 68-54 win over Minnesota Crookston on Saturday afternoon.

The Marauders would strike quickly for a 2-0 lead, but
Hope Dudycha (R-So., G, Austin, Minn.) would score her team's first six points for a 6-6 tie.
The Marauders would take a 12-8 lead, but Dudycha would bury a three, cutting the lead to one.
The Marauders would score four straight, but
Emma Miller (Jr., G, Albertville, Minn.) would finish a tough lefty layup, cutting the lead to 16-13, which would be the score after the first ten minutes.
Midway through the second quarter, UMary would take a 10 point lead, but Miller would halt the run with a bucket, making it 27-19.
Miller and
Riley Jenkins (R-So., G/F, Galesburg, Ill.) would help the Golden Eagles get back within four at 27-23.
Nicole Hernandez (R-Sr., F, Oak Creek, Wis.) would bury a pair of free throws, as the Golden Eagles would head into the halftime break down by three at 30-27.
The third quarter would be controlled by the Marauders, who would take a 46-32 lead, but Hernandez would finish a layup, cutting the lead to 12.
The Marauders would lead by 18 heading into the final quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Marauders would extend their lead to 22 and the Golden Eagles would try to chip away, but it would be too late, as UMary would win, 68-54.
Miller, the nation's fourth-leading scorer, would finish with 18 points and pull down five rebounds. Dudycha added 11 points, while Hernandez scored eight points and pulled down 13 rebounds.
Taryn Frazer (Jr., G, Cass Lake, Minn.) added five points off the bench for the maroon and gold.

Minnesota Crookston will close out 2024 on the road, as they travel to Northern State on Friday to take on the Wolves. Tip-off is set for 5:30 P.M., from Wachs Arena.
