CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston soccer team continues their 2023 season with a road tilt and a neutral site game this week. The Golden Eagles will head to face Concordia University, St. Paul in a non-conference game Friday, September 8 at 7 p.m. UMN Crookston will return North to take on former NSIC foe Upper Iowa University in a neutral site tilt at Chet Anderson Stadium in Bemidji, Minn., Sunday, September 10 at 12 p.m.
Minnesota Crookston comes into the game with an 0-2 mark. Concordia-St. Paul has a 1-1 record, while Upper Iowa is 0-2.

The Golden Eagles are 0-2 entering the week, but had a tail of two games. They struggled in a 6-0 loss to Wayne State College, but bounced back with a strong effort at home Sunday in a 2-1 loss versus Minot State University. The Golden Eagles had great effort throughout and tied the Beavers 1-1 in the second half, before allowing the decisive goal.
Minnesota Crookston is led by Brooklyn Fischbach (Jr., F, South St. Paul, Minn.), who leads the team with a goal. Autumn Rabe (Fr., F, Kewaskum, Wis.), and Marsia Green (Fr., MF/F, Waconia, Minn.) have assists for the Golden Eagles.
In goal, Abby Olsen (Sr., GK, Chisago City, Minn.) leads the way with a 3.33 goals against average in two games. Olsen had a strong effort against Minot State, notching nine saves in 90 minutes against the Beavers.
