CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston soccer team will play host to the University of Sioux Falls Sunday, September 24 at 1 p.m., at the U of M Crookston Soccer Field. The game will be Youth Day for Minnesota Crookston, the first 100 fans will receive a mini soccer ball.
 
The Golden Eagles are looking to get in the win column, as they come into Sunday's tilt with an 0-6 (0-2 NSIC) mark. Sioux Falls enters the weekend with an 0-4 (0-1 NSIC) record. The Cougars and Golden Eagles tied 1-1 in 2022. Sioux Falls won 2-0 in 2021. The last win for Minnesota Crookston came Oct. 10, 2015.

The Cougars are coached by Brittany Domino, and assisted by former Golden Eagle Head Coach Kyle Halfpop. Halfpop was the coach at U of M Crookston from 2019-22. He returned to his job as assistant coach at USF after the conclusion of the 2022 season. Halfpop had four wins in his four seasons.
 
Sioux Falls has yet to find the back of the net in 2023. They will play Bemidji State University on Friday before coming to Crookston on Sunday. Mariah Siem leads the Cougars with eight shots. Julia Kreutner has seven shots, while Abby Whittington has five shots.
 
In goal, Delani Daubman has a 4.00 goals against average in one game, with eight saves. Caroline Titze has a 1.71 goals against average in four games, with 32 saves.
