CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston is set for three NCEA meets this weekend. The Golden Eagles will face UC Davis on Thursday, February 2 at 12 p.m. C.T., at the UC Davis Equestrian Center. Minnesota Crookston will then compete in a triangular at Fresno State University. The Golden Eagles will take on Fresno State University Friday, February 3 at 12 p.m. C.T. On Friday, UMN Crookston will face Baylor in reining and flat at 5 p.m. C.T. Saturday, the Golden Eagles will battle the Bears in horsemanship and fences at 12 p.m. C.T.

The Golden Eagles are 0-3 in NCEA meets this season. They have competed against the University of South Carolina, Delaware State University, and South Dakota State University.
Minnesota Crookston was led their last time out against South Dakota State by Olivia Becker (Sr., Deer Park, Wis.), who earned a point in horsemanship. UMN Crookston picked up crucial rides in fences from Keira Boedigheimer (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Julianna Gullo (Fr., Itasca, Ill.), but both were narrowly defeated. In horsemanship, Ashlyn Montague (Fr., Draper, Utah.) and Belle Sand (So., Spicer, Minn.) each had strong showing.

In reining, Sand and Montague had good rides for UMN Crookston.
