CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston hockey program will hit the road to take on St. Cloud State University January 28 and January 29 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn. at 7:05 p.m. Friday and 2:05 p.m. Saturday.
The Golden Eagles are currently in fourth place in the WCCHA Northwest Division. They are just one point behind St. Cloud State University, who is in a tie for second place in the Northwest Division. Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend with a 9-5-2 (4-2-2 WCCHA) mark. The Golden Eagles have gone 5-1 in their last six tilts. St. Cloud State is 5-3-0 in the WCCHA this season. th in the ACHA Division II Central Region rankings.

Nikolai Rajala (Fr., F, Coleraine, Minn.) with 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points.
Logan Syrup (Fr., F, Park River, N.D.) enters the weekend with seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points.
Tyler Zahradka (So., F, Grand Forks, N.D.) has been the leading goal scorer for the Golden Eagles with 20 goals on the season.
Casey Kallock (Sr., D, Alvarado, Minn.), a 2021 ACHA Division II Second Team All-American, comes in with seven goals and 16 assists.
Tristan Morneault (So., F, Dieppe, New Brunswick) has made a major impact with five goals and 13 assists, while
Jackson Fuller (Fr., F, Bloomington, Minn.) has four goals and 13 helpers.
In goal,
Braden Schmitz (Fr., G, Devils Lake, N.D.) has led the team with a 3.52 goals against average with over 459 minutes played.
Jared Aamold (Fr., G, Breckenridge, Minn.) has posted a 3.67 goals against average in over 262 minutes in between the pipes.
The Huskies have been guided on the year by Alec Will with 14 goals and 11 assists. Noah Bissett comes in with eight goals and 13 assists. Riley Dixon has made an impact for St. Cloud State with 12 goals and eight assists, while Jacob Pirkl has eight goals and 12 assists. In goal, St. Cloud State has looked to Eric Schmidley with a 4.36 goals against average with 363 saves in 14 games. George Peterson has played six games with a 5.49 goals against average on the year.
