BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston men's basketball team fell 95-77 to Bemidji State University Friday, February 19 at BSU Gymnasium in Bemidji, Minn. The Beavers went on a 31-16 at the end of the first half to help lift them to a victory over the Golden Eagles.
UMN Crookston falls to 2-13 (1-12 NSIC) with Friday's loss. Bemidji State improves to 6-9 (5-8 NSIC) with the win.

Minnesota Crookston was led by the play of
Josh Dilling (Fr., Oshkosh, Wis.) with 22 points on 8-of-15 from the field.
Leonard Dixon chipped in 19 points. Ibu Jassey-Demba (Sr., Birmingham, England) finished with 10 points.
Hunter Lyman (Fr., West Fargo, N.D.) had a career-high 10 points off the bench.
Cody Landwehr led Bemidji State with 21 points. The Beavers had five players score in double figures. Derek Thompson had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Mohamed Kone finished with 12 points. Griffin Chase added 11 points, while Tyler Behrendt had 10 points.

UMN Crookston shot 26-of-66 from the field for 39.4 percent. The Golden Eagles were strong from beyond the arc, going 11-of-28 for 39.3 percent. Minnesota Crookston went 14-of-17 from the foul line for 82.4 percent.

The Golden Eagles pulled within 18-16 on a Dilling trey with 13:59 left in the first half. From there, Bemidji State went on a 9-0 run to springboard going on a 31-16 run to finish the first half. The Beavers went into the half with a 49-32 lead.
The Beavers built on their momentum as they opened the second half on an 8-0 run to take a 57-32 advantage. Minnesota Crookston got the lead under 20 points with a Dilling three-pointer at the 3:46 mark. The Golden Eagles pulled within 16 on a
