CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston officially moved their soccer game against Upper Iowa University to Mon., Sept. 30 at 11 a.m., at the Minnesota Crookston Soccer Field. The game was postponed due to lightning in and around the Crookston area on Sunday afternoon that originally delayed the contest. The lightning came about due to a severe thunderstorm that passed through the area around 12:30 p.m. Sunday and let up only intermittently throughout the early to mid-afternoon. The game was cancelled after a conference with administrators, both coaches, and the NSIC and plans were made to move to Monday.
The Golden Eagles are 0-4 (0-3 NSIC) entering Monday's tilt. The Peacocks are 0-4-2 (0-2-1) coming into the game.
